Sunday, June 1st, Tony, Noel and I was driving around Clarksville checking out some lovely old Victorian Homes on Madison Street. We were making our way over to Route 79 Flea Market, while going there I noticed the sign about Fort Defiance..so once we were finished at the flea market I made the turn out the side road to the Park.
We were going to try The Lodge but it was closed so we opted to go to BWW. Everyone in our party loves BWW and it was our first trip to this particular location in Clarksville.
... to none at this point. Procrastination is not something in which I usually partake, but I suppose realizing I am leaving is what has kept me from doing too much in preparation for the journey.
I will not comment too much on my last day at WCHS, as it was hard enough leaving, but I will simply look forward to Germany and know teaching and learning never ends.
We spent a great 10 days at the Canal Campground at Land Between the Lakes outside of Paducah, Kentucky. While we were there we went to the BBQ on the River in Paducah . This is annual event where they close down the streets downtown and have a party for three days with about 40 BBQ teams who cook and smoke chicken and pork. The BBQ was great. The music so-so if you like bluegrass. We had planned on staying in the area for two weeks but unfortunately ...

We left the cave area that is all stone covered and really beautiful if you can use your imagination and find yourself back in time...like I DID....ha ha...Tony says I am weird at times..
