... We did take pause on day one when a monster rattlesnake crossed our path! We "camped " at Best Western in the town of JT. The boys enjoyed the heated pools, and then later in the eve we visited regionally famous, Smith's Ranch Drive In. Thanks to a turkey of a movie, the best entertainment was the billion-star canopy, and leftover KFC chicken and mac'n'cheese. July 17th- I only slept a few hours and was awake at 2:30 with no hope of going back to sleep, so got up. Colored my hair and showered and by 4 AM I was in the car and at a gas station. That took me a while because I could not find the tab to unlock the gas tank!! Finally read the manual and that did not help, and when I dropped something on the floor saw it flush with the floor, a tiny tab that you pull up on! Then I played with the lights getting them ...
