    ... me miss fishing with my dad as a youngen. I had pretty good luck as a fisher. My biggest obstacle of this trip has been the roads. I just need to get through Missouri, and I'll be back on route with my paper maps. I'm thinking it'll take about 5 days total, considering Aunt Flow jumped on board to complicate the ride. The simplest things can become very annoying to deal with on a trip like this. Gotta love being a woman! I know, I know...too much ...

    Spent the morning pleasantly riding down the East side of the Mississippi. Did not see much of it as the roads took me out into the countryside. Not much to photograph but took a few. Then I saw a cool old iron drawbridge crossing over the Mississippi and had to go over it.     We arrived at Wallace State park and paid for two nights. Tomorrow we head west on the 36 to the 29 north, which will carry us into the Dakota's.

    Not much else to report, except for a problem with the storage compartment under the RV. The locking mechanism works on a cam type design and is prone to malfunction. I have taken these apart in the past and tightened things up and good ...
