... very clear but a lot cooler than we expected. Matt especially enjoyed walking in white cool sand; he calls the sun scorched sand back home “lava”. The sand in thisspot has quartz in it and it stays cool, so we heard from Dennis and Maria, two strangers we started chatting with spontaneously. Heather on the other hand keeps making trips from the closet and dropping stuff in both my bag and hers; she's been packing for 2 weeks already, how is there anything still left in her ...

Mariner of the Seas is in fine shape. Clean and pretty, with several new additions similar to the Freedom class (we traveled on last cruise) to bring it more up to date. She was in dry dock last year and they added a big screen over the pool, touch screen monitors throughout the ship with maps and daily cruise compass activities, etc. I only wish they could have found space to add a Flow Rider. We really missed that.
