    We had a crazy weekend mixed with multiple festivities (including the awesome game of True American), however, kayaking along Saluda Shoals was probably the coolest thing I have done in Columbia yet.     ... sloughs with water tupelo and bald cypress. Though you wouldn't know from looking at it, this area is actually not a swamp, because it's not always flooded.
