      ... she discovered that she left her backpack at home on her bed. Fortunately, she had not packed a lot; just Samantha and Derby, two stuffed animals who have traveled everywhere with us, and her math packet, the latter of which Josie was none to sad to leave behind.       ... this beautiful day. After lunch we found 2 loungers and enjoyed an afternoon by the pool complete with a swim in the pool and hot tub plus a Bloody Mary. Our room, as all the rooms at the Boradmoor, are exquisitely decorated with floral fabrics, large pillows and ornate belongings. I felt like a princess!       ... the resort had to close due to thunder and lightning, since we all had pretty decent sunburns the next day. Ouch!       ... noticed there was a team roper from Grand Junction, Travis Bounds. He also saw two bull riders from Fruita. We took the opportunity to call Leslie's dad. He knew Travis but he did not know either of the other two.

      We thought the rodeo was well done and fast paced. Even though the seating was a little tight, we all enjoyed the event.
