Beautiful beaches.
Too bad they are flanked by zealots and bikers. Been a long time since I had seen such racism co-existing with constant praise to the almighty (I know, usually go hand-in-hand).
If you are looking for a confederate flag boogie board, they have plenty to choose from.
White sand, clear aqua water...and lots of country families compliments of Alabama. If you can ...
... after and desired. My next goal may be to become a snowbird! Tyndall Air Force Base has several lovely beach areas and a marina. Tyndall Beach is reached after a 10 minute nature walk along a boardwalk to the beach. This beach area is relatively untouched by tourists and not used by a lot of people. It was beautiful and peaceful with the sun glistening and reflecting on the waters. Walking alone I am vigilant for alligators ...
Panama City,, Florida, United States francie... before sunset--it had been raining but it only sprinkled a little while we walked. The beach reminded me a little of The Outer Banks--houses only, no condos or high-rises. The beach itself is quite beautiful--white sand.Dinner was at the Blue Parrot--a restaurant (maybe the only one open?) on St. George Island. We ate outside on the porch overlooking the ocean. I had Fried Oysters, which were very good; Larry had grouper & scallops--skimpy portions.
St. George Island, Florida, United States bdodson... was between an automobile, a palm tree and a priceless lawn ornament according to its owner. Having knocked on doors to get the car moved, Clark escaped the cul du sec not without a lot of scornful looks from the angry mob that had gathered., After "Threading the Needle" (backing "Monica into a tight spot around a tree, over a picnic table, and across a patio" we were once again, "home". Clark observed that there certainly ...

The only replacement is a pontoon, which isn't the best for casting. But nothing stops dedicated fishermen/women. There's enough fish for dinner! No suprise.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... how to fish. Their wedding photos show Skip & Min leaving the reception with...fishing poles. So, here we are at a resort that has a fishing pier. And after we check in...the first priority is to check out the fishing sites, after going to the Post Office to pick up his fishing gear. Of course, Skip has already downloaded all the maps.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... because of the shapes the stalagmites and stalagtites took. I think one of the funniest parts about that stop, was just observing the people. There was this couple who couldn't stop sweating, reaked of beer at 11.30AM, and found it necessary to inform our group of strangers about their financial issues. Good times.
Panama City, Florida, United States christina-elyse... it's better and it handles beautifully. It also has a slide-out, in the living/dining area (that the Dynasty didn't), which gives us quite a bit of extra 'living' area. However, it had a pull-out type sofa, that was not satisfactory for my use. So, the boys removed it and put it into PJ's house. Then I installed, in it's place, a twin bed with storage area underneath. I also added some ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... With the telephone technology of today, she was able to move the business from Maui to Florida. We got there just as she was setting up and getting everything going. It was actually fun for me because it almost felt like we were back on Maui. We were talking to the owners of activity companies, activity agents and tourists who were all on Maui and we were acting like we were, too. The 'farm' is only a few acres but it has two small ponds (where Terry could fish), a large shop ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... and the truck driver recovered enough for us not to really collide badly. The only damage was his side mirror banged ours, practically tearing it off and shattering the upper mirror (of the two mirrors in the bracket). By the time that we could pull over, he was gone and it would have been too much trouble to try to go after him (it's not easy to turn around with an 40" RV plus our Grand Cherokee Jeep SUV hitched behind)! Well, after the Perdido Key ...
