I checked out of my hotel in Tonopah, did some laundry and headed for Cedar City, UT, the town closest to Cedar Breaks National Monument, my destination for tomorrow. One of the few interesting things on the drive is that it took me on The Extraterrestrial Highway, Nevada State Route 375, which runs close to Area 51. I didn't see any UFOs.

We had a leisurely morning, taking our time and heading south into Utah.

We passed through Salt Lake City saw the Great Salt Lake and took a brief detour out to salt flats to take some pictures. A lot of flat and a lot of salt. We also saw the giant Kennecott smokestack (1200' (370m)) high, which is pretty neat.

... that were amazing to see. Reece's word for the canyon was "exotic" with the hoodoos and view.
We arrived back at camp early for a change and Rhett was going to go swimming but some rain clouds came up so the pool closed. He was able to go later in the evening after dinner.
The evening finished with ice cream, yes D and B, again, and then games. ...
