    Motor to xxxx canal. Missed hourly bridge opening by 10 mins. Unusual bridge- on a pontoon that rotates to side from one end. Narrow channel for a couple miles through marsh country which opened out to a windy stormy bay open to Ionian Sea.     ... the water was so salty!! We got back to the shore around 5pm, and headed back to the hotel to relax for a bit before we headed out to our Ionian dinner experience. This was so fun!! We were served a 4 course Greek dinner, and they had lots of traditional dancing and activities. Everyone joined in and it was a lot of fun. I was told it's basically like being at a Greek wedding.     ... really cute, most are harbours so really picturesque, and the people are lovely and friendly, and we had some of the best food on our trip yet at some of the local restaurants in Loggos (Vassilis, Nassos to name a few).
