      Oct. 20th

      When we woke we looked outside saw several elk grazing through the campground. They were all very close by and seemed very comfortable being around people. As we drove through the north end of the park we saw more elk and also a small herd of pronghorn antelope. This route took us through Gardiner Montana. This is a small and very western looking town.       ... getting my things in order. How many pairs of shoes can be taken? What really is 44kilo of luggage? Do I buy a crock-pot now or later? The crock-pot recipe collection is looking fantastic.

      Exams are still under way, along with the significantly more socially important Christmas, New Years, and Pre-Departure/Good-Bye party.

      I'm sure Banff will be better.

      Stopped on the way to Banff at the Boy's favourite food stop - Timmy's! We had to admit it was a better choice than some and healthier too.
