This morning we got up said goodbye to the Codrington's and headed out to Stone Mountain Park. We drove around the whole park and then parked at the gondola. We left Savannah about 1:30pm and headed west. It was 89 degrees. We don't know how, but we managed to skirt the storms and only got a few drops. We shut it down at 6:30pm in Columbus, GA just in front of the line of storms. It is thundering and raining now.
We are waiting now to hear how Colt's Eagle Board of Review outcome is. Going to be a long night.
After a 5 hour drive from Savannah we checked into the Hampton Inn in Opelika just outside of Auburn. There were very few people at the hotel so we were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious. The hotel was extremely clean and looked brand new. We utilized the fitness center which was complete with the right amount of machines, weight balls, a mat, towels, and water. We got a casual dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings in tiger town to close out a rainy night. Not much else to ...
... in the car and we decided on Subway. After eating our fill we decided to do something fun. So we all decided to go back to the hotel and go for a nice long swim. A couple hours later we got out of the pool and went upstairs and watched some good old-fashioned boring T.V. Hanna fell asleep during the movie and I'm getting there.
