Today was the start and realization that I am about to start my new life down under. I have been here just over a month and it started to hit me that I am actually doing this. I began my journey today with a new life-changing career that I am happy to wake up to. I am able to walk to and from work with no sense that I am in an unknown place. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I dislike driving and being able to walk the city with Darling Harbour as my backdrop is ...

So we started our employment at Peakbound on Monday, working on behalf of St George Bank as Customer Service Representatives. We've spent the week in training with our fellow new recruits (19 of us in total, we being the only non-Aussie citizens which we're happy about) in which we spent time learning about the intricacies of the banks personal products - knowledge we'd need to be pretty au ...

I think the most important thing that I've learnt is to live every day in the best way that you can, do the right things and be yourself. I'm going to have a bit of a ramble on my post tomorrow so will leave ...

Today was the day of the Bridge Climb and my Christmas Present, it was meant to be a surprise but Tom let it slip a couple of weeks ago. The forecast wasn't very good and when I woke up it was raining BUT it picked up as the morning went on and we ended up having an amazing time. Lucy and I got the bus into town at 830am and walked through the Rocks to the Reception of the Bridge Climb, first person I saw in there was a guy in a Spurs Shirt, always good to see the ...

... we went out to a Malaysian restaurant to celebrate at lunchtime, I managed to eat some very spicy noodles. After that we went to the Macquarie Shopping Mall, pretty impressive place with a very large Rebel Sport Shop in it, I bought myself some Sydney FC gear. I want to buy an item from each of the clubs in Sydney, I don't think the Big Bash clothing is out this season yet though. We also went to Chatswood Shopping Centre, this is very close ...
