The whole trip is winding down a little bit now, it's that awkward time between Christmas and New Year when no one is really sure what to do. It's the same a bit here, I've done pretty much everything that I wanted to do and seen everything that I wanted to see. For five weeks now it's been absolutely manic which is exactly how I want it to be. I will look back on it in a few weeks/months and truly appreciate not ...

The markets were very good, managed to buy some Christmas presents and will go back on my own next week to get more presents for Colin and Helene. We pulled in to a small place called Wingello to stay in the forest, there is a small campsite away from the main road so we thought it would be quiet. It definitely was quiet! 4km down what can only be described as ...

Catching up with a few Kiwi bus pals

Today was my last full day in Sydney, the sun was shining brightly and I was off to meet Hannah and Sarah in their Sydney home of Glebe.

I grabbed the free bus from Circular Quay down to Central Station and then took a leisurely stroll to Glebe - about 10 minutes. I wished I had discovered Glebe earlier, it is a lovely place. It has a great park and some very nice cafes and shops.

I met the pair of them at a nice cafe ...
