This place was called Flavour's Café and was off the main road into town up a very steep hill (one of those you have to walk up backwards). We called in advance to order lobster and arrived for the sunset. It was quite basic but Julia, the owner, served us callaloo soup (like spinach except that if you don't cook it a minimum of 15 ...

Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda easygeezeDear Blog,
Another day, another adventure. We arrived at Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda at 8:00am this morning. Today promises to be a beautiful warm and exciting day as the sun is already rising along the island and showing off its bright golden rays.
Antigua boasts one of the Caribbean's most spectacular coastlines with secluded coves and beaches. The capital is St. John's and approximately 70,000 people live on the island. The official ...
... kastelen. 4 ...

St John,, Antigua and Barbuda banshee... who went out missing in action. I've seen her last night taking off with an American from Detroit, Michigan. She took off on Winston, so he has decided to take after me............no thanks, after a few polite excuses, he's still following me around like a little puppy, so I stayed in hiding most of the remaining evening in order to escape the pretentious guy. I refuse to get involved in that episode. I need my bed anyhow, my donkey-day had tired the hell out of me!
St John,, Antigua and Barbuda banshee... in frustration. The swimmer grabbed the anchor chain (apparently it had sheared its chain) and was holding onto the line Al threw out. Al knew that they could not tie off the chain well enough to tow the yacht and it was now within 30 feet of the rocks. Luckily my calling out to neighbors produced two more dinghies (a Fold-A-Boat with a quirky engine and a Sunsail charterer) that managed to push the yacht from its sides while the swimmer climbed aboard and hooked our line to ...

We have to return back to the ship as soon as we finish lunch, and we are to be carried to the last but most beautiful Island of all.
