I was also fortunate to attend the local "Sant Narcis Fires i Festes" the patron saint festival of Girona. Maria and I walked through the incredibly beautiful Parc de la Devesa, a massive never ending "Narnia like" forest of incredibly tall deciduous trees. Within this forest, as the leaves were just beginning to change colour and fall, was the local fair with all the rides and kids attractions!

Calonge to I'Estratit to Cadaques to Berger
... journey to get there. We hadn't realise the road to Cadaques was so bad and busy and had planned to travel back on our selves to stay at Roses. No bloody way was that happening! We very nearly stayed in the carpark over night to put off the journey back. We decided to leave Cadaques and make the 2 and a half hour journey to Berger that day rather than on Saturday. Barcelona to Calogne
... it wasn't that busy. Leaving Tossa de Mar we drove to 6 different campsites, the one we are at now (due to leave in a minute) was the only one open! Camping International de Calogne is a huge site, very well kept with the best showers I have ever been in. Hopefully this is what to expect at all sites we visit.
