... water, sewage blah blah, but the mind set is the same. No cars, bikes or buses. The only wheeled vehicles allowed are rubbish trucks. It's foot, donkey or water taxi. This is a very wealthy place. There are private yachts here bigger than the ferry on which we arrived and house prices are extreme - apparently. But like all of Greece, present economic troubles considered, it's cheap to eat, drink and stay here. The food is simple and exquisite, ...

"no....scuze me...no...u can not... no...stop...hey you...stop...you can not...we wait two hours....no...you move... you can not be here... no... stop... you hear me....." I do not know who this woman was but her screeching/bellowing voice was now echoing throw-out the harbor. The ...

Arrived Santorini 3.30pm. Arrival into this lovely island is beautiful. Santorini itself perched on the rim of the cliffs all the white washed buildings looking like snow from a distance. The island is the remains of a volcano and the port the crater lake so a spectacular sail in. 2 large 4 masted ships in also. Tendered ashore and the queues for the lift to the town were formidable. ...
