... included seat cushions which were necessary. The 2 seats beside us were vacant due to unflattering seating surfaces so we got more leg and backpack room. The play was super full and the venue added to the historical significance of the play. They did modernize the play to suit the modern audience though. After the play, it was already 11pm, and we we're looking to find something for a very late dinner. Restaurant owners came out to the middle of the road and ...

The ferry did not return to Poros until five thirty that evening so we had the whole day to explore the village and the many paths and alleys. The sun was warm and the sky was cloudless making for a ...

Our first impressions of Nafplion were not as romantic as I remembered her nor as I had raved to Bruce. But after 2 days of seeing the quieter and gentler side, I have again fallen in love with the town. Yesterday afternoon while it spattered with rain and we sheltered at our pensionne, a bride and her entourage prepared for her wedding. They gathered under the awnings in our courtyard, to be made up. They were visited by the groom and his friends, her mum and dad and various aunts ...
