    Still at the Fiat Professional Dealer, Problem found! The Speedometer is faulty causing a low glow of the handbrake warning light and a new Speedometer is required... Spoken to Fiat Customer Services and waiting to hear if they will cover this under goodwill as the Herman is 3 months outside ...

    Herman has fallen ill and has been rushed to the Fiat Hospital in Terni... We've seen a mechanic consultant and it appears water has got into the fuel system and now needs to be drained and flushed through...! We were all set for a 6hrs drive to West of Genoa today trying to push on and get around to France and Spain... Hopefully will be sorted today and back on the road tomorrow. UPDATE... So we still here in ...

    ... the festival began, but it was not very "happy" for obvious reasons. There were a bunch of people dressed in medieval costumes and everyone in the town was very kind to us. I had pizza frita, which is a big pita bread with salt. I have been going to a salsa dancing place recently, which is really fun. I enjoy it more than Two Stepping because I actually enjoy the music being played.

    ... and shoe shop..thinking of the difficulty in transportation. I do wish now, I did at least step inside!!

    The Cathedral is at the highest point on top of this hill and not only oversees the city below, the view of the region is worth the meander. It had been drizzling earlier in the day and hence our wet weather gear was out for the first time. However, it didn't restrict us at all and made the ascent easier as it was cool.

    ... teachers wandered into the piazza. Followed shortly after by civic officials, flags, banner and wreaths.

    As luck would have it, just outside the hairdressers, there is a plague erected on the wall, commemorating "Panicale's fallen" during First and Second World Wars

    When the officials arrived they all gathered in front of this plague, right outside the hairdresser's!

    Of course, we couldn't understand the words but certainly ...
