Had a relaxing day at Doms beach shack today; was quite cloudy but very humid & sticky. Walked up to middle of Candolim tonight for dinner. Had big tuna fillets each, only 280 rupees each (2.80) so good value compared to the whole tuna we had the other day for 1500rupees. Jason just had to have the chilli nan he saw ...

They also cleared up my confusion about all the water bottles being sold at the roadside stalls that ...

This is where we met with a head of a big mining and hotel company who explained to us that Iron Ore mining and the tourism industry are major contributors to the Goan economy. He then lead us to a nice meal at his hotel and provided us with a driver to tour around Vasco City.

... a good line and to be able to have a proper chat with them for a change.

We had a very nice morning and read for the rest of the afternoon. We had a delicious lunch of prawn biriyani, dal fry and chapati's all washed down with a birthday beer ... this is the life! After a busy day of doing not much we decided to retire to our room to enjoy a night of indulgence.

We were still rather full ...
