    ... the stereotypes. The oriental people take random photos of nothing and as they are walking in front of you they just STOP! How annoying!

    The Germans we have met have been rude and queue jumping and the American have been loud and demanding! I wonder what they all think of us............. Travelling makes you think of random stuff.

    Suzie Q's fact of the day - the M1 (motorway) circumnavigates Australia so therefore it is the longest motorway in the world!

    ... our way into a good position to watch the amazing show projected onto the Customs House building. We had seen a little of the show the other night so knew we had to watch the full show. So spectacular, certainly a highlight. Hope I can download some of it for you.

    So now two weary people board the train again for our last trip back to caravan. It has been a great week in Sydney and tomorrow we head south for home, collecting Koby on the way.

    ... Marcia we couldn't do any surfing/diving/snorkelling in Byron or Surfers Paradise as all beaches were completely closed. Pretty uneventful few days really! Brisbane came around and the weather had finally improved! We were staying with Ballard and we were excited to see her but also SO EXCITED to be out of the camper van for a few days.     ... not a sit down meal. John figured I should try out some traditional Aussie grab it so we had mini sausage rolls and meat pies! Delicious! After eating I had to soak my feet in some Epsom salt I bought that day, I've got some big blisters that I didn't want to get infected.
