    ... AB tunes. Earth Wind and Fire (remember?), 30 years on, played all their famous hits and spookily looked and sounded just they they always did. Lots of southern rock was enjoyed, sometimes through the night.

    ... Crossed a huge causeway over the Gulf of Mexico and got to see the USS Alabama. We also went through a huge underwater tunnel (reminded me of the Holland Tunnel between NJ/NY) which travelled under Mobile Bay.

    When we hit Florida, it was amazing to see state prisoners working on the highway clean up patrol. This is really what prisoners should be doing rather than sitting in the comforts of their cells. Roads ...
