Val des Roses Antibes

After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>

I asked the cashier where the milk was (in french!) and she said it was in the back but they were closing so I must hurry. I got nervous and couldn't find the milk so I don't have any for cereal in the morning! Oh well, at least I spoke to someone. Anyways, for the rest of today, I've just been watching french ...

  Ok, I'll go back and make an entry of this day, my favorite day of our trip to France, with bits of the whole trip haha.  We arrived in Nice on Sept 24... After the most dramatic train trip of my life.  You'll see all the map pins preceding this entry...well, our train to Milan was 15 minutes late, and we had a 15 minute connection.  Over the trip, it became 17 minutes late.  We were already slightly in despair ...

... me I was winning, as soon as he left I lost two rounds only to try and end the night on a good note. Unfortunately I was determined to win my money back and went on to play on a Blackjack Game which didnt go so well for me. After the casino, we took photos on the hair-pin of the race track, then headed back to the campsite for a couple drinks and called it a night. The next morning we left early for Verona, then to Venice, followed by Florence.
