          ... we enjoyed our last lunch in the dining room then reluctantly packed our bags & disembarked. Caught a taxi to out hotel, the gorgeous historic Intercontinental Marseille Hotel Dieu. Our amazing executive room had a large undercover terrace with a panoramic view over the Old Port.

          I think this is the first cruise where we went to port the first day. I remember most of my other cruises starting with a sea day, but we have four ports of call before our first day at sea. Today's port is Toulon, France. It is located in the south of France on the Cote d'Azur and is a naval port.           ... London so found our hostel pretty easy. We dumped our bags then we were off to explore Paris! Coming out of the underground station in central Paris was exciting. Got our first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower and other sites. First stop was the arc de triumph. Bought tickets to climb to the top and got a really good view! After climbing 280 steps you would hope for a good view! Took some snaps then walked to Eiffel Tower. We could see it poking up but couldn't seem to get ...
