Great location in Thamel, yet tucked away from the noise and bustle. Probably the best hotel within the shopping area, as better and bigger hotels have to be located further out. The staff are great and friendly and there is an outdoor pool for the warmer months.

Christmas Eve in Kathmandu

We had just enough time to purchase dodgy Christmas jumpers, eat a few Mo Mo's and shower, before heading to mass. We’ve splashed out on the 3 star hotel that Nabin works in for Christmas.

London to Kathmandu via Delhi
21st May/22nd May
The holiday began with a bit of a dash to the airport as we had both been in work in the morning (not the frog obviously...he's a kept frog, he doesn't need to work). Still we made it on time. We were very impressed with Jet Airways. Nice new plane and lots of films to watch, even in …
