... the good life, if you live it.

Lynn showed up shortly before dinner. We got unpacked and had a meal of home made BLTs which really hit the spot.

Today, Thursday is Jam Makin' Day. We'll make about two gallons of Raspberry Jam, our specialty. It's a good workout, but well worth the effort. If you've tasted it, I'm sure that you'll agree...

Thanks for stopping by again...

... has given me a new appreciation for KOA "kamping". It's fun playing the campground roulette, trying to get Internet to secure a place to stay for the night, so far we have been lucky and not needed to do any roadside sleeping or Wal Mart parking lot sleeping (not too many of them on the routes we have been going.)

I decided to take a break from skiing and walk this morning. My right wrist is a bit tender, so a rest won't hurt. I saw the garbageman drive by already. Traffic-wise, that's about all we see in the winter during the week. I walked about a mile and a quarter and ironically, met up with the Snow Plower Guy. He remembered me from my earlier pleas to put the snow away from our entrance. Imagine that... We talked it over ...

... relieve those who have already begun to complain. Since we travel south each winter to seek such a clime, we do love it. Pour it on!

I put a potpourri of photos up on Flickr this evening. Most are of Lynn's flowers, but there's a couple of a doe deer with twins in the neighbor's yard and a couple from here.

Our daughter, Lisa, her husband Rich, and others will be here later in the week, so I'll be posting more later.

Good to see you again...

Tomorrow we'll do a hike, again on the Lodgepole Trail, only a few miles drive from here. It's our favorite and gives us a good workout with a climb of about seven hundred feet to just under a top of seven thousand feet in altitude. We usually see a few deer, a bird or two and lots of wildflowers. Perhaps I'll find something photo-worthy to share. Thanks for stopping by. My last post garnered not a single comment, so...
