    ... a parking lot...he's a good guy! I've never seen one like this before...it's shaped almost like a pineapple with thick bracts holding huge seeds in place...and the tips of the bracts are needle sharp and it's heavy.

    ... 500 gallons a day of water! Also, the rapid decrease in temperature. It went from 80 degrees in southern Oregon down to 60 in about an hour as we headed into California and the Redwoods.
