    ... on the i15. It was a long slow drive. We stayed at a KOA again just off the highway, halfway between Las Vegas and L.A. This time we were grateful for the white noise. We will take white noise over random coyote calls all night.

    ... raced through the galaxy at high speed with mad rocketships chasing us. Lots of sudden drops and zooming over planets and crash landings. What an amazing day. We headed home for a swim and a BBQ for tea. Dad made us shrimps and ribs, delicious. We headed back into Downtown Disney to see the fire works up close. An amazing display.     Phew what a day, we all had a good sleep after the long travel day, even though the room is quite hot. It does have Air Cond but you can't leave it on as it's too noisy, the beds are comfy and the road noise isn't too bad considering how close we are to it. We got u about 8ish, had a good breakfast and then off just after 9 to walk to Disneyland, got there exchanged our vouchers for tickets and then went though the gates into Disneyland park and it was magical.     ... of the former LA times publisher Harry Chandler. The 'land' part was removed in 1949. A 2 hour round trip later (a lot of sweat and dust) we headed back to the car and a well deserved lunch. During our trip, we still hadn't experienced a true American diner experience and so we headed to Mel's - a famous diner that has been around since the 40's.
