... at our son’s house to help with last minute help. We helped clean all morning Wed and took care of the “littles” so that Nate and Bekki could keep going. Our niece Laurie, the other organizer, arrived to help along with her husband.

... it very rarely, if ever, snows in the local townships - occasionally high on the mountain tops, but a lot of the Danish buildings in this small town were built for snow like back home in Denmark, with the high peaked roof tops. ... is not great about ....18c very cold wind coming off the ocean .... but the sun was shinning so it was still very pleasant. We walked along to beach for 2 km towards the pier .... there was stalls set up for the farmers markets so we stopped and browsed.

... We talked about how and when the grapes were picked. The picking usually is in the fall around September but of course depends on a multitude of factors including day and night temperatures, whether there was a freeze or not (yes it occasionally freezes here), and the mood of the owner. ... when I got back on. As not many people could understand me I asked for the Chinese translation to say that aswell. The guide was trying to make me sing to everyone at first...
