... to get up. Finally it was dinner Viking style! We had smorgasbord all round, the girls enjoyed, Frankal tolerated, Chris went into terminal decline due to lake of good meatballs & the memory of school dinners. The owner / waitress was cut from the same cloth as the bike museum guard, most strange! We sat at a picnic table making tuna sandwiches ...

Gary could not wait to get out of LA, he was not really liking the city at all. We hit the road towards Malibu with the sun shining, detouring via Beverley Hills. We took a side street and checked out some Beverley Hills mansions; some seriously gorgeous houses around that area. Still no celeb sightings. We drove down Rodeo ...

... place (we are definitely not city goers) once we settled down we pulled into a Jack n Box on the seaside at Malibu and had some brunch …. more burgers and chips, then onto who knows where, seeing lots of old convertibles El Camino and new Mustangs, Dodge Chargers and Challengers, kept going, winding our way around the coast then inland to find Lompoc around 3pm and decided to stop here, wasn't long ...
