I did some research on wineries on Foxen Canyon Road southeast of Santa Maria. I always thought Sideways was filmed around Napa and the Fess Parker Winery was located there, too, but they’re actually in the wine country south of Santa Maria. ... amazing …….I had Budweiser, Don Black Malibu and Coke, kids had fizzy, enough to eat for our dinner then they went back a couple doors down to the room and watched telly in bed, Don and I stayed on and had couple more drinks $4.00 each (so cheap) and talked to several of the locals that were there, its so nice and normal here and feels like home, retired to our room around 9.30pm and had a good sleep, feeling tired after big days full noise since we left ...
