The rest of the ride was mostly downhill but by the time we'd made it to Lompoc the bike lights were on and we still had a few miles of tricky traffic negotiation before making it to our campground on the other side of town.

... cheaper. Also a cool box, as drinking the water when we were driving up to Solvang was disgusting - it was almost hot in the weather we have been having. However, now we have bought the cool box, the wweather will now become cold.A great dinner back at Shelagh and Karl's, they have really looked after us well. I did suggest that we should stay here for 4 weeks and then fly to New York, but no-one else thought it was a good idea.So tomorrow its ...
