... the night of the 8th and saw two bemused Australians with Starbucks cups wandering into shot - it was us! After arranging American SIMs - for what was quite an expensive price - we made sure things were up and running, and set out for our Motel again. Since I was last here, it seems LA have put in an underground railway - which runs along Hollywood Boulevard, and we were able to walk across the road to a station to get back without the *************e way ...

It was too good to experience once, so we joined the ...

... had envisaged: I may finally have been clean, but I was ill. And Mum's luggage had been lost by British Airways so she was donning one of their branded T-shirts. This also meant that neither of us had any makeup or hair products (I hadn't travelled with any). We didn't let this deter us from exploring Hollywood Blvd though and, despite my dishevelled appearance, Spongebob Squarepants kindly told me he loved me (he's clearly not a superficial kinda guy). Overnight ...

... the tv and pictures! We knew when we had arrived at our destination as the area completely changed. It went from calm, picturesque and people working out so graffiti on the walls, skate boarders and a strong smell of illegal substances! We popped into a couple of the shops to buy t-shirts, tried a deep fried Twinkie and even saw a french bulldog - nowhere near as good looking as my Hugo! For a snack we had a $2.50 world ...
