... from a very grumpy lady sitting in front of me, was very comfortable, even equipped with wifi, and which made a pitstop about halfway through the 4.5 hour long ride at a McDonalds. It was all very organized and American.

Right on time we arrived in San Luis Obispo where a gleaming train was already waiting. Another seven hours on the train would take me all the way down south along the coast, on the so-called Pacific Sunliner. The view from the train was incredible, ...

... Obispo county is a great little place, not sure if it is the happiest place on earth or even the fourth happiest but it "sure is nice". Would definitely stop off in Pismo, Shell or Grover Beach if ever we were passing this way again. Tomorrow morning we head further up Highway One and really get to the most scenic part of our journey. Can't wait, it will be so exciting.

After a free art and wine tour i had taken along the downtown streets of San Luis Obispo (SLO) is when i realized i'd lost it. uh-oh! Lying in bed on a cool, windy, February night my phone gives me a quick buzz buzz, looking at the screen I see my good ole' chap Mark sent me a text. "Dude we should go to Europe", I laughed and said sure. We jokingly schemed and eventually got our parents together. Before we knew it our pie in the sky idea was a reality. Today we are flying to Munich, ready to tear S&#% up.
