... more stops we'd like to make along the way. We took a short drive to Cambria, to take a few photos before continuing on our way. After an hours drive we stopped at Hearst Castle. It wasn't a castle it all! The tour guide even agreed calling it a Grand Home on a hill. Not to be cheeky but it could not compare to English stately homes or castles! During the tour, we are given a recorded introduction to the catsle and tour by Alex Trebec - a nice way to ease into the story of Hearst's vision and the story of the castle mixed with some do's and don'ts. Either way, I am pretty sure that dessert will be a staple for every meal and that we won't be visiting any museums on either day.
I mention this only because today I decided to call for a "Daddy Day" (not something we had planned ahead of time). We left Santa ...
