... we went through Monterey and the 17 mile drive and stopped in at carmel for lunch. when we come back we will have a week just to really see these places. so onto san Lius Obispo but the road was so windy(but spectacular) we didn't quite make it. hence our stop in Cayucos. it is just about 1/2 way between San Fran and LA and very beautiful. the weather is really warm, high 20's with very low humidity. so ...

We had a brilliant night in our tent. It was the perfect climate, and the perfect surroundings. <br><br>We did not visit the Cracked Crab for lunch after all. I did not think it was reasonable to have such a large, pricey meal for lunch! I did however get the best clam chowder from Splash's Cafe! I have had too many clam chowders since we arrived on the coast at San Francisco, and this was by far the best!!!!<br>

... Some guy had the nerve to "booo" us, but trust me he was jealous. And I'm not just saying that. We were dancing with the hottest girls in the bar at will. He was confined to the wall with his lonely drink. <br><br>Nate drove us home. On the way back I reminisced of all the good times I spent in SLO. And to think at one point I looked forward to getting OUT of college. Now I would do whatever I could to get back IN. Haha. Life's funny that way.<br><br>Word! <br>
