We got up and out of the hotel just as the sun was rising. It took much less time to get to the airport this time since it was early in the morning and the massive amounts of people hadn't poured into the streets yet. With one last look at everything along the way we said goodbye to India and looked forward to getting to Maldives!!!

But this was just plain ridiculous. They were unprepared, overdressed, and were not going to ruin our fishing trip. All the rest of us rolled our eyes, baited up our lines, and threw our hooks into the water and tried desperately to ignore all the dramatic sounds that were coming from the back of the boat. Here is where I'd normally deliver a report on the country itself, but I honestly don't have one to give you. There was one day where I can't even remember leaving the hotel room but most days I at least made an effort to get out and wander around. Malé is a tiny island for a capital and getting lost doesn't really pose a problem. ...
