      Checking in process for the cruise was about 3 hours but I guess 2000 people is more than your normal charter flight. Went to our stateroom only to find a big blower trying to dry out a leak from the AC... It's now been 24 hours and we still have an industrial blower in the room making a hell of a din and very cold to boot. (Watch this space) Up at 6 am and straight to the gym ...

      ... largest and most luxurious plane. We have a suite with an amazing new ensuite. Even allowed to take our dog on board and what's more, you can step outside for a spot of fresh air.

      Next morning I baked a batch of biscuits- as you do- then we hop in a black limo again to get to the airport for the 1.30pm Virgin Australia flight to LA.

      I can't fault the service and even manage to get reasonable sleep before arriving earlier today in LA.
