I recognized Ian as soon as I got off the train, and soon after got to meet his wife, Gabrielle, and 19-month-old daughter Journey. ... from the weekend. We went to lunch at a Tex Mex place that was wicked good. Then we went back to Ninas house and got ready because her friends were getting married and I was her date. I had no idea who anyone was so it was funny to be at a wedding without knowing the ppl but it was beautiful. The open wine and beer bar flowed and they even played dnb at the reception!!! Today I arrived in California. I'm going to be here for four days before Australia, but I'm itching to leave right now. The weather is great and the hotel amazing, yet all I can think about is this huge trip I'm about to embark on. I'll write more later! -Jess
