        ... evening literally thousands of people had gathered on and around the bridge. However, unlike the bat-tastic scene I witnessed in Cambodia a year ago, this time there were no bats. Susan and I waited and waited and waited. Finally it was too dark to see if there were any bats or not so we headed back to her house. I guess even bats need a day off now and then.

        ... nature tour. and saw many different pods of dolphins (with three babies) and phoebe was welcomed on the boat as well. they also dropped a net to see what they could get off the laguna madre floor and brought up rays, crabs, shrimp, squid, fish, and a slug that sprays ink. fascinating.

        there is so much variety of birds here it is amazing. out on south padre island and also inland up the rio grande ...

        ... these little puppies, or actually how far it can go.
        This one in particular afforded us a few chicken sandwiches, a club house for
        dinner, and a all you can eat Taco night at our place with a few of our
        friends, and featuring the chicken and a tube of chorizo, which we had also
        picked up at the opening of the new Sam’s Club in Harlingen. Then of course the
        chicken soup which fed Angie and I, and Pete and Chris and our good friend Roxy.

        there one of a bikini clad girl on a beach, there is not even a beach picture.
        How about a picture of the emergency entrance in a hospital, shown upside down,
        I can remember that. A couch pillow, what a damn couch pillow that is what they
        first show me. I am to remember that I chose a freakin couch pillow? Who comes
