... i met at my hostel. It was really good, lasted an hour and a half and i felt great afterwards. So relaxed. The beach there was not the best, i preferred the one near my hostel. My last day i went on a snorkelling trip. It was to 4 different islands by speedboat. I saw so many colourful fish. We got the chance to relax on an unspoilt beach and swim in the clearest waters. It was paradise. Lunch was included on the beach too. On the way ...

It has ...

The best thing about this tiny village situated over the water was that it gave us a chance to experience day-to-day Thai life without the tourist factor - we were the only 'farangs' (Thai for tourist) there the whole time! We finished up the day by stopping of at the ViewPoint Cafe, owned by the charismatic Dick, to watch the sunset and attempt to capture some half decent photos. On Monday morning we got up early to try and ...

      ... the soggy streets.

The rain has come consistently every night. The sky fills with lightning from the sea. As the storms come in the environment prepares you with only a moment's notice. First you can see the palm trees start to sway on the tip of the island. Moments later the need to secure books and other flight worthy items before you lose them. When the rain starts it is light...a cool Seattle drizzle. Within about ...
