          ... was fairly dry and the waterfalls were only small but it was a nice place to visit. The next day we got a bus up the Chiang Rai which is even further north and sits just below the golden triangle which is where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet.           ... need another taxi connection to the west side of the island but it is fairly chaotic as no one speaks English and there are no signs. I show the written name and address off Sea Breeze Hotel to a driver, he throws our luggage on the roof of his songtheaw. Others soon have their luggage launched skywards and when we are overloaded by 3 too many passengers ( who have to stand on the rear step clinging to the roof rack all the way) we're off.

          ... Resort) was really nice and made up of 12 little bungalows, had a pool and was a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach.

          We met up with Andrew and Dave a few times for drinks and dinner - they were only here for 5 nights.
