    ... but it is an incredible car. Now, I'm in a little mini-van with a random bunch of Frenchies, Spaniards and Germans (BlaBlaCar strikes again) on the 5 hour drive to Paris. I could really do with spending some more time in Germany and can't wait to come back after I've headed back to the UK. Such an amazing few days. I am feeling so happy.

    I could also do with not having 3 hours left of this journey. I might be sick on the French guy next to me. Sorry ...

    Moms birthday was yesterday! It was also Halloween, but I'm not sure the people of Düsseldorf were aware. Yesterday we arrived early in the morning after an overnight bus ride on a two deck bus. We searched for breakfast without any luck but we passed a small park and found our hostel easily. The guy at reception was super nice and let us store our bags and told us he could let us check in about an hour early, which meant we only had about 4.5 hours to ...

    ... is in celebrates All Saints Day on November 1st, so there are a lot of things that are closed. We still got a good feel for the city though. Tomorrow, we're renting the car and driving to Amsterdam! I'm nervous about driving somewhere where I can't read the signs! Luckily, Europeans drive on the same side of the road as Americans, so that part will be okay. I have to remember how to drive a stick! I love you love you love ...
