      ... translated all the announcements for us. We finally boarded at 4.30 for our 1 hour flight to Cologne. Made a heavy landing in light snow and waited for 45 minutes for some extremely wet bags to finally arrive. Taxi to the reception place to collect the keys ( where the taxi left us two blocks from where we were supposed to be so a short walk in the rain found us the reception).       found track non rhine river and headed for home with pick your own strawberries on the way
      checked out band festival ( Mayor there again )
      was going to pitch tent on lawn and pretend we on way to Amsterdam bikes stil packed. Think we might try and catch tram to Duisburg tomorrow and continue from there
