So friendly, upgraded us to a family room at dorm prices. Free shots when we went to the bar. Beautiful view of the Harbour from the roof top bar and common/restaurant area. Very helpful with all local information and genuine when offering good value tour and accommodation options in the future.

It's where I feel most complete, …

One by one we jumped into our rings and floated down the freezing cold water. There were squeals of delight and "EF this is cold" coming from the boys and the girls.

Turkish harbor -back to the lira!

We've arrived back to the Turkish coast this morning. The week of cruising the Greek islands and Turkish coast is over- I'm well rested with a nice suntan and ready for the next leg of my trip. My initial plan was to head down to the Greek islands although I've decided not to leave Turkey yet and head east to Cappadocia and Nemrut for the next w...

    Goble Goble Goble!

Sorry for the title. I couldn't help it. And honestly I blame Emma - she was saying it!

So during our visit to Rhodes, the powers that be - i.e. mum and Rhelma decided we should visit Turkey. Therefore after one quick conversation with a tour operator, 22 euro each plus 15 euro border tax we were off the Marmaris the next day. With one ...
