... the jokester that she is, took us via the Circuit des Gorges du Loup (Circuit of the Loup Gorges), where the Loup River has cut it's way through the pre-Alps, to the Loup plain and finally out to the Mediterranean. I'm so glad that she did because it meant we saw the most magnificent gorges, rock formations and waterfalls, which were totally unexpected and an added bonus to our day. Rob drove up roads that went through tunnels, under huge granite overhangs and between enormous ...
... a problem. Lunch could be served at a table or on the beach; I had mine at a table, snapping photos of the beautiful Mediterranean as I sipped my crisp white wine. After lunch, the waiter brought my wine down to my beach chair and kept it cool in a bucket of ice. He kept my glass full, and checked to see if I needed more wine. ... we are very pleased with what we saw. Enjoyed a very late lunch, ( yes Rick had a steak )another little look around and by then it was time to catch the bus back to the park. The bus driver gave us a little scenic tour as well, he drove us through a little village which is situated higher than here again. We did intend to hike up there to have a look, but he saved us the walk.
A fantastic day once again and it was sunny as well.
