    ... this area and then security hooked onto us and we didn't get back in ! We then wandered around but it was wet underfoot. Then I had a brainwave to wander into the water to the paddling boats. We were probably the only ones in shorts, so easy. We were now the closest spectators from the boats as they passed.     ... a canal under the massive Notre Dame church here. We had lunch of Croque Monsieurs for Jeff & I (essentially a ham and cheese toasty) and Bev had a huge chicken sandwich with a Cinderella cocktail. Ooh la lah!     Keeping busy doesn't seem to be the problem, its more having friends and getting out to do something social once in a while. Something I've always struggled with, add the language barrier and no car and it becomes even more of an obstacle for me.
