So we went to Mirepoix via Limoux. E. Leclerc was an important stop on our way. They sell Sieur D'Arques at a Euro less than the cave - my economy drive is kicking in! Then onto the Aire at Mirepoix. What a disaster? The aire had no shade at all - it was just a Tarmac car park. And the Bourne was tres basic. Push tap - oh boy! Did my arm ache after filling the aquaroll several times? It's moments like that when I am delighted to have all the extras like an ...

... a laugh. We headed off in search of breakfast (yes JP sort the cabin coffee out mate..getting caffeine withdrawals...) and stopped again in Biert for the obligatory coffee! ... down a track. While we missed the food in Spain, Andorra made for a pretty nice road trip.

School here doesn't start until September, so we have one more road trip planned this month--a trip to Galicia and the Basque country to visit our exchange student, Eider. Best part of all, Amani will be joining us!

    Hasta la proxima noticia.

... historic churches, shrines and basilica. It was full of pilgrims on the Camino, tourist buses and day trippers from Barcelona enjoying the various mountain hikes, religious artefacts and the market stalls selling fresh cheese, fig and quince paste and cava. What a delightfully unexpected surprise! Without any hiking gear we decided to enjoy the village the best way we could- a cheese, fig paste and cava picnic on the lawn overlooking the views. Sure bet the lunch views ...

    Jaca to Andorra

A travel blog entry by westcoast09 on Aug 05, 2014

No breakfast at the hotel so we decided to leave earlier at 8am, a welcome cool start to he day, the weather forecast was storms in Andorra, the weather along the route was fantastic and the scenery again was amazing. Unfortunately not any vista points were visited so no pics, try better tomorrow. The hairpins and bends along the route were tricky at times and Rogers footplates took a bit of wear as they scrapped ...
