    ... 50pesos I gave him :-) Nevertheless we were on the ferry on our way to Sabang, a small area on the North Coast of Puerto Galera on the Island of Mindoro (actually on Mindoro Oriental side). We had our accomodation booked at the Blue Ribbon dive resort which was owned and run by an English fella named John. In a nutshell, Sabang is a westernised hub for diving.     ... Easy!

    Well nearly anyway, it sort of went to plan. Destination - Ermita ( 300 pesos / 6 euros) by airport taxi, so we jump in , and as soon as we set off we are warned by the driver to lock the doors, instead someone tries to grab us or our things, dont wear jewellery, be very careful if we go out in Manila especially at night!! wtf?? have we arrived in The Bronx or the Philippines???

    Anyway, the driver takes us to a 'safe' hotel, named ...

    After a great nights sleep we woke up Sunday for our last dive before we were officially certified. We did another group dive from a boat to a site called Cathedral Rock.
