About an hour after the guys returned from the airport, Frans received a call requesting him to return to the airport to collect his luggage which had just arrived from Frankfurt of all places.
On returning back to the hotel it was discovered that the luggage had actually been to the USA as well, before making it's way back to Glasgow.
Frans was very happy to get his case back ...

off their coats for the season yet filled George Square and Exchange Square to
eat their lunches on the benches. A few were even feeding the pigeons,
something that seems to me like something out of “My Fair Lady” but some people
really do it. Overall I found Glasgow quite nice and particularly like the fact
that it’s not overrun with group tourists the way European cities with more
blockbuster famous attractions all are.
