This is so exciting! However the villagers tell us that we need to stay within the village for the next few days as there is talk of Vikings in the area! We are really regretting the fact that we did not take more time to learn about the norwegian viking group and what they could do!

We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary with a trip with our daughter and her husband. This was in July 2006. We visited Austria first nice, and then Slidre, Norway. In Norway we visited my ancestral farm, the Nesja farm in Slidre. The present owner Oyvind Nesja and his family were very gracious. They wined and dined us and showed all the sights.

... to our cabins and hung out. I stayed up really late speaking Spanish with the two Mexican girls. The next morning I was really tired. I had breakfast and then I went back to bed. I packed up my stuff and ate lunch. Then we drove back to Krokstadelva. I slept the whole way. When I got home we had dinner and I accidently fell asleep at 6:00. Luckily I woke up at 2:30 in the morning because I didn't have my alarm set for school the next morning.
