On our way back to the hotel we discovered that not only are Japanese sewers more developed and civilised than China they even go as far as to decorate their drain covers, I think we are going to like this country!

... on the door and we watched a storming gig. They really are one of the best live bands in the world and the Japan crowd are a tough nut to crack. Its not that they aren't massive fans too, they are just much more undemonstrative than us Westerners. They politely clap and never fill the silences in tracks with cheering (I did that instead :) But I'm not for a moment doubting their devotion to this band, they knew all the words to even the oldest songs.
