Here's where the previous references to cars going down in the other lane become relevant. As I tried to go back down the way I came, there was a gentleman standing by a big sign that was blocking the lane going down and who was directing traffic. He crossed his forearms in front of his chest and kept saying to me "Dah-may! Dah-may!" which I figured out means "Not Allowed." He was pointing me in the other direction to go down the opposite side of the mountain ...

I have discovered that the link to my flickr photo site in my first blog post is not working. You will need to copy and paste it into your web browser. There are more photos there plus the resolution and size is bigger than what is seen in this blog.

Does anybody have suggestions for places to check out in Tokyo for food or otherwise? So far, the meal count is ramen - 2, gyoza - 3, tonkatsu - 1, hamburg steak - 2, soba - 1.

... Fukushima. Kameda Sensei's and Ara Sensei are the English and Music teachers at Jess's high school. They treated us to a magnificent spread. It was a degustation taste of about 11 dishes. We were just returning to the mainland when the heavens opened, so we scurried into a cafe for a cuppa, while the rain fell down.
