... see it all. We had a 2pm lunch in a restaurant that sold us the most delicious Barbera D'Asti, €15 to have with lunch and €11 to takeaway, how could we resist. It accompanied a delicious lunch of bollito and scallopina con limone. We made it home just in time, there was a massive thunderstorm and we were inside and ...

I got the metro from near my accommodation into Termini station (the main station) then bought a return ticket for a regional train to Frascati. It's a small town about 20ish kms from Rome. The chapel was gorgeous, covered in mosaics, and housed the pillar on which Jesus was scourged. However, besides that, not I nor probably any of my classmates could tell you much about this church. Yes there was a lecture, but we were standing outside and still had not caught up on sleep (or mentally for that matter), so no, we did not absorb too much. We ...

... experience. It was neat being able to understand some of the things being said. Receiving communion at the Vatican is not explainable, it put tears in my eyes. After the mass, Papa Francesco rode around the crowd and waved. We were so close! Everyone was just happy to get a glimpse of the pope and to see him wave with his famous smile. I bought a Rosary before hand and it was blessed during the mass. It is something I know I will keep and cherish forever. Today is a day I will not forget<3
