Why is it that when you need to get up to go somewhere and you set the alarm you always wake up just before the alarm goes off I had set the following for 4am - mobile phone alarm - television alarm - wake up call !! It was really great to actually see where Cathy's life started out. It reminded me how fortunate I am that she somehow ended up on the other side of the planet working in the same hospital as me.

Next on the agenda was a taxi to The Old Ball, Horsforth - a lovely pub managed by Cathy's cousin Tracy.

... across festivities where they let loose heaps of red and yellow balloons! Look around museum where Christopher Columbus documents are held. Saw a few more lovely churches. Lunch at an irish pub. meander around the streets doing abit of shopping. Hop on bus and go out to Shopping centre Montmagnum for a look around as raining. York is much closer to Leeds than I had realised otherwise we would have spent 3 nights here instead of 2.
