... Any time your on the road you have to look out for those hazards. Especially if your lower to the ground like we are. Anyway it turned out to be a very wet day and nice ride.
We spent our second day heading on down to Illinois. We stopped in Hobart, IN to ride another Rails to Trails called Prairie Duneland Trail. We rode 15 miles through lush, green lands and had lunch at a cute place called Tate's.

people hanging out at Lake Michigan. I don't think we're big city
people though so we headed out of Chicago and back into Indiana.

campground just out of South Bend, about ...
... home, but it seems we've taken just about everything else.
Tom hit the hay on time. I finally crawled in bed at 2:30 a.m., which is typical for me on the night before vacation. Ah well...relaxation and rest is just around the corner!
Moved to the Elk County fairgrounds. The tech came here to repair the scratch that came from the factory on the front cap. He got here just as we were leaving and the scratch was gone when we got back.
Mike and Nena were our travel guides for the day and we went out to lunch and supper walked along the beach front in Saint James, Michigan. It is amazing when you meet someone and it feels ...
... one walks!! They run from getting parts for a task to the task. Not an easy job working there. We brought the doors back and they drilled the handles wrong on one door. So we had to wait until the next day for another door!
We were glad to get out of there and go on up the the Elk County Fairgrounds.
The repair place had to do the last two repairs here at the fairgrounds.We will be leaving here Monday heading to Iowa.
