Toronto, Ontario, Canada fabiotrevisa From Niagara Falls we took the greyhound bus to Toronto, it only took a few hours and was very cheap.
Toronto is a great city, I really liked the atmosphere. What I liked less were the beggars. There were quite a lot of young men that looked healthy and quite well off holding out their hand for change.
We visited Casa Loma, which was smaller than I expected but was nice to see and it gave a good view over the city. It's also been the set for quite a few movies but I didn't real...

I want to tell you about these great Niagara Falls tours that Chariots of Fire offers. Both Niagara Falls tour packages are reasonably priced, just $60 per person. The driver/ guides are great. They know alot about Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. (Their jokes can be a little ...
Milton, Ontario, Canada janeseniuk... disgusting but it wasn't too sweet, just had the maple taste. Got chatting to a few people and one of the hostel staff, Vera, told us that a bar around the corner had live bands on that night. So, I got to see three rather interesting examples of Canadian and US music, what can only be described as a Strokes tribute band, expect they didn't actually do covers, a US Blue Grass outfit and the headliners, The Outbred Inlaws, basically Punk County ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada missmizon... I always assumed that it was just mindless Xenophobia.
Anyway, enough of the history lesson - there's more to life and I'll bore you all with it when I get back - I shall leave it here so that I might enjoy something of the sun, and read some more.
We have our playoff game on Wednesday between us and the Magic Eight Balls (who beat us 2-1 on my debut) so I'm eagerly anticipating that. Take care of yourselves!

... br>I headed to Niagara falls early in the day and found the rumors to be true. The Canadian side of the falls is better. Sorry, to those who haven't seen it. You can get down close to the falls and the shots are just more picturesque. See pictures and video bellow for evidence. I'm glad I saw it but probably won't return until I have kids or another chance. Onto Detroit.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada brandonibolognaSo, update time.
I've decided to stay in Canada after many people made the point that I’m only going to go broke in this country once, not to mention the price of changing my flight would be… considerable. There is no news on the job front, but I’ve just completed the online bartender course for Ontario, so there shall be a fresh resume blitz, in order to take advantage of this fact.
The rent’s come out of my ...
Dear Friends, I am preparing to embark on another adventure. My Visa and airplane ticket arrived in the mail on Friday and yet to arrive is my new travel skirt with coordinating hoodie. I've got to look cute, no? I had a facial yesterday and look like a pin cushion but I also re-strung my amazing travel necklace, added new stones (aquamarine, blue agate, amythyst and turquise) and attached my little amulets, fatima's hand to ward off the evil eye from Morocco, a budha from ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada lgiroux... who happened to be there at the same time. They were just off to the Casino for a little bit of gambling on the poker machines so we didn't detain them long as we were due to see them again on the Wednesday. Tuesday afternoon we took a fantastic trolley bus tour of Kingston and learned a great deal about the town. Kingston was originally the capital city of Canada and has a a really interesting history, they also have almost the entire collection of Canada's ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada jm-bvmHumber bay park is a nice place to have a walk during the week-end. I have been there in april but I guess it is different in summer at which time people can swim in Ontari lake.
Humber bay is located in the west-south part of Toronto, after Hight park (close to Kings Mill or Jane Subway station). If you like walking you can for example start at Bloot st. west and Jane st. and walk through Etienne Brule then Kings Mill park to go in Humber bay park. It take maybe 1:30/2:00 ...
Nothing special occurred on the final leg of my trip. My 2.5 hours in Canadian Customs was a real bore. I was still exhausted from the previous day and the realization that I would have to go to work the next day kind of took some of the luster off what had been an amazing trip. I calculated that at the end of my drive Monday I had spent almost 32 of the previous 40 hours driving. I can't wait until next year. Drive time stats... Daily KM: 369 Hours ...
