The only sign of man was a nearby bear proof cupboard, the only sign of bears was some chewed trees and more alarming was a carpet of grey/black fur surrounding a large pine a few paces from the camp. On Tuesday, we went to see "Maleficent" (which was surprisingly good) and had a fabulous lunch at Jazz, a "New Orleans experience." Then I loaded up my car and headed over to Patty and Scott's house in Southwest Reno.
... the warm pool and the "warmer still" waterfall pool. Lyndsey does decide to check out the "cool" pool and tells me it is almost as warm as the warm one. I spend a little more time in the hot tub while Lyndsey swims a bit more. It is very relaxing and the only uncomfortable time comes when you want to switch pools since it is indeed very chilly outside.

We packed up after 15 days in Monterey and headed out on our return home. We decided to stop in Sacramento and see Fred's cousin Suzanne for lunch and then continue on to Reno for the night. We got about half way there when we got in a big traffic jam on Rt. 680 because there had been a shooting of a policeman that morning and they were still investigating the crime scene.
