We told him we would bring him some Turkish Delight and he laughed and told us that we don't have to buy any because people just give it to him. I guess people love kids here and will often hand him candy when they meet him. I heard my first call to prayer tonight. I thought how wonderful to be reminded throughout the day that God ...

My flight to Europe this time started off with one of my really good friends, Chanho, picking me up from my home and bringing me to the airport. He picked me up around 5 or so in the morning so I could make my flight at 8.. In typical Chanho fashion, he needed his coffee break so as I promised him for driving me to the airport and since my parents gave him gas money although he refused to take it, we used it to buy coffee! Now mom and know what that money really went ...
