The Hard Rock had great food, great service, and great shows. I enjoyed myself very much and I will be going back next year.

Love at the hard rock

Loved the hard rock. I went there with a friend and my mom and it was awesome!! The best part has to be that the parks are so close walking distance, its unbelievable. Not only that but the hotel was fun and very comfotable to be in. Highly reccomended

O.K. Service

The Hard Rock Hotel was very attractive, but we found the service to be below par. The rollaway cot took 5 requests before it arrived, the room was not cleaned until after 4:00 and desk clerk bordered on the unpleasant. Concierge was helpful and manager was attentive when we brought our "issues" to his attention. Pool was fun for the children, proximity to the parks was great and front of line perk made a huge difference. Probably would not stay again - would try another hotel on the property.

Simply Amazing, The Hard Rock Rocks!!

This hotel was fabolous, just amazing. I went w/ my family and not for one moment was i bored, and neither my family. Music was playing 24hrs a day, under water speakers, two jacuzzis, 2 pools, a simulated beach, plus large rooms. Also universal studios is right outside the backdoor of the hardrock. Less than a three minute walk to all the parks and city walk. This is the only way i'd go for now on because you get to go in an express line w/ your hotel key and get to cut everyone, the only tough part was looking at the other peoples faces when cutting them, but the longest i had to wait was 10minutes top, on rides that had an hour wait, and i can go on rides 5times in about 20minutes, it was great. Citywalk was also fun and highly recomended, just drive to the hotel park the car and dont look at the car again till you have to leave or go to a waterpark. I ate at city walk every night and the live music was a blast plus the entertainment. This hotel rocks, oh yeah and dont worry about the views, because we had a pool view and barely saw anything so save some money by just getting a garden view. Plus the fitness room costs $8 that annoyed me and i wouldnt eat at the hotel its a lot cheaper in the parks. If your thinkin of universal or orlando think no more and go to the hard rock. I cant wait to go back, i'd also one day would like to try the portofino but didnt look as family orienated as the hard rock. email me w/ any questions.

Best Vacation Ever!!!!!

We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel this past February. It was the BEST vacation we have ever had. From the minute I walked in the lobby doors i felt like i was some rock star entering my pad in California. The rooms were great, the pool was fantastic, and the perks we got were endless. Anyone who is thinking about taking a trip to Orlando, I cant stress enough... GO TO THE HARD ROCK

Hard Rock is Awesome!!

The Hard Rock Hotel is the best place to stay if you are traveling with kids to Orlando!! We took two 18-year-olds, an 11-year-old, and a 7-year-old, and a great time was had by all. Our room was gorgeous (a King Suite with adjoining Double Queen) and service was fantastic. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in (besides my own...). I would like to try the 7th floor, as it would be nice to have breakfast available, but there are plenty of places at the parks to grab something in the morning...

The parks are only a three-minute walk away, and the Express Pass is awesome. We never waited more than 15 minutes for ANY ride, and some of them had posted times of 75 minutes or more. It was great to be able to go to the park in the morning, then back to the hotel to relax, then back to the park to ride roller coasters in the dark!! City Walk is on the way to the Hotel, so you can have dinner and drinks on your way 'home' for the evening.

Absolutely fabulous, we would go back again in an instant!

Loved the Hard Rock!

My husband and I went to the Hard Rock Hotel for our honeymoon in April '02 and had a fabulous time! The rooms were beautiful, the food (though room service was overpriced) incredible and the staff tremendous! Definately a 5-star hotel! We can't imagine staying anywhere else for our 1 year anniversary! Simply the best!!!

We found we were still kids.

We decided to take a winter vacation with our granddaughter to Orlando. From the time we enter the grounds until we left we found enchantment. We never experienced a vacation like it. The employees made us feel at home. The services were excellent and the days were filled with surprises. We usually look forward to going home but not this time. We will be back. The three of us are anxious to go back. The Hard Rock hotel really rocked us!

The Hard Rock Rocks!!

My husband and two children spent This past Thanksgiving at the Hard Rock Hotel and had a fantastic time. When we arrived ALL staff members were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the 7th floor which is a must if you want to have the ultimate Hard Rock experience. They start off with a nice continental breakfast in the morning, beverages all day, beer, wine and wonderful hors d' oeuvres in the evening, and milk and cookies before bedtime. And believe me, after a long day at the parks and Citiwalk its all you can do to crawl into the luxurious beds! I am glad it is such a short walk from the parks.

We had stayed at the Portifino in 2001, and had a nice time, but staying at the Hard Rock is the only way to go for my family from now on!!

What a wonderful vacation we had last August, 2001, at the Hard Rock Hotel.

My family and myself have been taking an annual trip to Florida since the birth of my oldest son who is now 8. We have always done the "Disney thing" since I am such a big Disney fan. So last August we decided to try something different, and felt that my boys, ages 4 and 7, were ready to try out Universal and Island of Adventure. I checked out different hotels but what appealed to me was the "front of the line access" you receive if you stay at any of the Universal on-site resorts. We booked the Hard Rock Hotel as it was relatively new and they were offering some great deals. We were greeted by a friendly staff and a courteous

valet parking staff. Our flight was early so we arrived to the hotel by 12:00 noon.

Check in wasn't until 4:00 but our luggage was checked in and we were able to enjoy the afternoon by the pool. My children loved it! My boys thought that the slide was the best that they have ever been on and by our surprise they never even asked to go to any of the area waterparks as they had so much fun in the pool at the hotel. We enjoyed dining at the poolside bar and grill and spent many relaxing afternoons and evenings just "hanging out" poolside. The front of the line access is definitely a great selling point. We would be able to complete a whole

park by 1:00 or 2:00 and then go back to the hotel, which is in walking distance, for a day of "Fun In the Sun". Well needless to say it was definitely the most

relaxing vacation my husband and I have had since our honeymoon. Citywalk, which is also within walking distance, had some great restaurants. And guess what,

we have already booked another trip for August of 2002. We can hardly wait, and this time we will be staying on the club level, which has a daily complimentary breakfast and also a daily cocktail hour. We are also going to stay for one night at the new Royal Pacific Resort. Who knows, maybe next year we will split our stay between the 2 hotels. So if you are looking for a vacation that is both fun and relaxing you should definitely try the Hard Rock Hotel.
