Probably the worst city in the world
... if we could not see anything). Yeah... sure... we'll pay once the works are over. We browsed through our guide to find something else worth seeing but resigned after a while. The city itself was a communist nightmare - so tons and tons of concrete - apartment blocks of twenty or so floors, colorless and scary. To end the day, we did visit one of the nearby monasteries, but that's all I could write about it...

First day in Romania
Quick update.
Check-in at the airport yesterday was quite quick and we were both able to go through immigration even though there was such a big gap between our flights. We said our good -byes at my gate and we left our separate ways (Alex to Singapore --> Sydney; and I to Bucureshti--> Iasi)

Flying into Iasi and then visiting Husi and Vaslui
... we drove to the scenic part of Iasi, and walked around a few of the parks there.
The next day, we travelled to Husi, and had a quick shower before Ioana's other uncle Aurel picked us up and drove us to Vaslui (45 min drive) where Ioana's dad's family resides. ... me. I spent a night in Iasi and going to Moldova hopefully today.
ROmania is an amazing country with so many castles, palaces, citadels, museums to offer, fantastic mountains and landscapes, and great people. Ton of monasteries and beautiful churches!
It's getting too much for me to intake all this so I want a break :) Get back to simple life - just walking and camping :)
Besides,I really miss my home, Belarus, and hope to be there ASAP.
